Schools and ELC settings process personal data every day. Data protection legislation provides a governance framework through which personal data can be collected and used fairly and lawfully. It enables organisations, like schools and ELC settings, to do what they need to do with personal data whilst ensuring that people’s privacy is respected and everyone understands what will happen to their data.
