General Health Information

Helpful information from NHS regarding some minor childhood ailments and good hand washing:

–          Head Lice

–          Hand foot and mouth disease

–         Thread Worms

–          Hand Hygiene

Whilst these ailments don’t require your child to be absent from school and they are not classified as a Notifiable Disease, they can be infectious and it would be helpful if you could please let us know if your child is showing symptoms.

The risk of contracting bugs and infections can be significantly reduced by a good hand washing regime.  Hand washing is the single most important thing you can do to help reduce the spread of infection and we always encourage children to wash their hands before eating or handling food and after going to the toilet.
